New to Epsom Coaches, 543 joined the King Alfred mini bus fleet in January 1967. For reasons unknown it was withdrawn five months later and sold to R.S. Bushnell of St Mary Bourne, near Andover that August.
Bought by FoKAB in 2004, 543 has recently been extensively restored in our workshops. Very few of the Martin Walter bodied mini coach CALZ’s survive and FoKAB is very pleased to return 543 to the road once again. The vehicle was first displayed at Winchester Cattle Market in September 2019 as part of Heritage Open Days and operated several free bus trips on 1st January 2020.
